Philosophy majors are recognized for their rigorous training. They are well prepared to pursue graduate work in philosophy at many reputable institutions. They are also well prepared to succeed in almost any other field of inquiry. Many philosophy majors become successful lawyers, physicians, business persons and computer analysts. It is well known that philosophy majors in general tend to excel on standardized tests such as the LSAT, GRE, MCAT, and GMAT.
