Admissions

Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree and must have
completed a minimum of 18 credits in psychology with at least a 3.0 grade point average.

All applicants must have completed:

• Introduction to Psychology; and

• Psychological Statistics and Research Methods.
  

Students considering a concentration in behavioral neuroscience should also have taken Physiological Psychology or an equivalent course.

In addition to the general University requirements for admission to graduate studies, the Department of Psychology requires a 300-400 word personal statement describing your academic achievements, research interests and career goals.
