Graduate Program Overview

The Department of Psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences at Seton Hall University offers the Master of Science (M.S.) in Experimental Psychology. The program trains students in the scientific methods of psychology.

The program also prepares students for basic research and teaching as well as work in applied settings such as clinics, schools, hospitals and industry.

The M.S. in Experimental Psychology provides a solid foundation in empirical research for entry into doctoral programs (clinical, counseling, industrial/organizational, and experimental psychology, and neuroscience).  Students are also prepared for careers as laboratory assistants, market researchers, science writers and community college instructors.
