Upon matriculating for the doctoral degree, the student also is required to demonstrate mastery of the current literature in the chosen area of study through a series of cumulative examinations.

Foreign students must provide proper immigration documents and have a minimum TOEFL score of 620.

All prospective Chemistry students must complete a departmental application form in addition to their graduate application to the College of Arts and Sciences.

Prospective students may apply online or download a print application. Please call (973) 761-9430 or e-mail artsci@shu.edu for an application packet.
