Internships & Careers

Career advisement is an integral function of the Department of Economics.  Economics majors secure employment with financial, industrial and governmental institutions. Recent graduates have obtained positions at
  • securities firms,
  • banks,
  • insurance companies,
  • the Federal Reserve System and
  • major industrial companies.

Several graduates also have launched successful consulting careers and others have gone on to teach at the college level.

A bachelor's degree in economics is an excellent foundation for continued graduate studies in economic growth, a master of business administration (M.B.A) or Doctor of Laws (J. D.).

Seton Hall also has an excellent Career Center, with a multitude of resources and personnel whose primary mission is to set you on the right career path.
