How do I join the alumni association?
All graduates of Seton Hall University are automatically considered alumni and entitled to all the benefits and services thereof. Get involved by joining a Club or Regional Chapter, taking advantage of benefits and services offered to graduates by the University or by contacting us at (800) 992-GRAD or alumni@shu.edu.
 
How do I receive a copy of my transcript?
Transcript requests should be filed at least six weeks before any deadline. Normal processing time is three days, except for peak periods at the end of each academic semester (November, December, April, May). Official transcripts can only be mailed directly to a third party and must be requested in writing. Learn more about requesting a transcript.
 
Can alumni get married in the Chapel?
The Chapel of the Immaculate Conception can be reserved by alumni for Catholic weddings on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.  There is a fee that includes the use of the Chapel, the organist, cantor and other related costs.  Please note that the Chapel is not available for non-denominational weddings.  For questions, please call Marie Drennan-Graves in the Campus Ministry Office at (973) 761-9589.
 
How do I replace or receive a copy of my diploma?
If you would like information regarding your diploma, please call Enrollment Services at (973) 761-9326. Please note that Seton Hall University diplomas are always printed in Latin.
 
How do I use my bookstore discount online?
All graduates receive a 10 percent discount off non-textbook purchases at the University Bookstore. In-person discounts are available by showing the cashier your Alumni Card. When completing your order online type the code ALUMREG06 into the "Order Comments" section of the form and finish your transaction. Your on-screen total will not change, but the discount will be applied when your order is processed in the bookstore. Your credit card statement will reflect the discounted price. Are alumni able to access library databases online?
At this time access to on-line research databases is not available. Alumni may access certain services including book check-out and databases on-campus at the library. To speak to a University Libraries representative please call (973) 761-9435.
